The students who spearheaded the protests at the time were students at Korea's top universities. Many of them are currently executives at conglomerates, politicians, and high-ranking government officials, occupying positions in society's leadership.

당시 대모를 주동했던 학생들은 한국 최고의 대학들에 재학중인 학생들이었다.
이들중 다수는 현재 재벌기업의 간부이거나 정치인 고위 공무원 등 사회지도층에 자리잡고 있다.
